As Dave puts it - "Start of the New Year, ACW game from Dave and Bradley (Rebs)managed to achieve operational brilliance, get almost all his Confederate forces into contact in turn one and then watch them all run away like school girls. Phil (Union) tried hard to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but was stopped by the umpire from opening fire on his own troops - they were Americans after all, and it wouldn't be right not to have a real Blue on Blue incident. Well done the band.
John Wayne must have performed well in the Mexican-American game ... the usual guffaws were heard from those damned noisy historical gamers. "A last request gringo? Guess I'll just finish my Texan Bar, just bite throught the chocolate and chew - real slow".
Time for some serious fantasy next week with:
750 pt Border patrols - Dave, Brett, Andy and Trainset(?)
Star Wars - Mick, Mark Two, Phil and some others?
Martian Empires - James and Brad, lucky boys.
